Air Sampling
Adverse Material Pro's have licensed Technicians to conduct air sampling on site. Air sampling takes a physical sample of the air you breathe every day. Biologists study the air samples and we conduct a report comparing the air qulity to the outdoor air.
Why have an air sample? Sometimes customers feel symptoms of mold in their homes without actually seeing physical modl structures. Air sampling will gives us an indication if there is a hidden problem, ie in the crawlspace, attic, etc.
Air sampling call also be used to confirm that mold was properly remediated. Without proper containment, mold removal can actually cross contaminate the living space. Air sampling can answer all these questions.
Visual Inspections
Home inspections are usually conducted on all real estate transactions. Almost all home inspectors willl state that they found a "mold like substance" but will not fully disclose if it is mold. If there is any question, a certified mold inspector should be called.
A.M.P has certified mold inspectors on staff and will locate the areas in question, and determine if it is truly mold. If it is, we can guide you through the process of removing the mold safely.
Air Quality
Sometimes other things besides mold can be contributing to poor air quality. This could include VOC off gassing from construction material or new carpet.
We can test for literally hundreds of VOCs and compile a report indicating the health of your home or business. We can than direct you through the process of safely managing or removing VOCs.
